Machine Gun Kelly takes a joy ride through the desert in “el Diablo” video

It’s been an eventful week for Machine Gun Kelly. The rapper kicked off with a fall tour announcement alongside Young Thug, and now he’s unleashing a vibrant new video for “el Diablo.” The track is taken from his latest Hotel Diablo, offering a look inside Kells world as he takes a joy ride through the desert.

In late May, MGK dropped “el Diablo” as the second single off his fifth full-length, returning to work with “Rap Devil” producer Ronny J.

To rewind, MGK’s “Rap Devil” was a response to Eminem’s diss in “Not Alike.” A few weeks after, it was revealed that Ronny J produced both diss tracks. However, it didn’t end there as he also produced Eminem’s “The Ringer,” which is housed on Kamikaze with “Not Alike.”

A few days later, MGK’s “Rap Devil” joined eight other tracks for BINGE EP. There, it was revealed that MGK collaborated on another track with the producer, “LATELY.” The collabing didn’t stop there as MGK and Ronny J teamed up yet again on this latest single.

Jimmy Regular and tattoo artist snuffy.nyc directed the video. MGK also worked with the latter on the visuals for his cover of Billie Eilish’s “Ocean Eyes.”

More on Machine Gun Kelly

Machine Gun Kelly has been teasing a massive fall tour over the last couple weeks and finally unveiled the stacked run with Young Thug and more.

A week after Hotel Diablo was unleashed, MGK teased the upcoming run. “Patiently waiting to announce this fall tour in the states with a certain artist / friend of mine … ??,” he tweeted.

Fans ran wild with speculations, with many pointing to recent Hotel Diablo collaborators such as YUNGBLUD or Lil Skies. Even the Count himself Pete Davidson was tossed onto the wish list.

Earlier this week, MGK teased the teamup yet again, writing, “remember that tour i was talking about … ? TOMORROW ? + ?.”

The rapper made good on that promise and shared he’ll be hitting the road with Young Thug beginning this September. “Holy fuck. going on tour with my Slime twin. ?+? YSL + EST,” he tweeted.
