Machine Gun Kelly sets fire to the “Glass House” in haunting video

Machine Gun Kelly shared the haunting new visuals behind “Glass House.” Recruiting vocalist Naomi Wild, the duo spiral through the cinematic new video for the Hotel Diablo track.

The video joins previous releases off the musician’s fourth album: “5:3666” with phem, “el Diablo,” “Candy” with Trippie Redd, and “I Think I’m OKAY” with Travis Barker and YUNGBLUD.

MGK released Hotel Diablo in early July, taking fans on a journey in his head that got “just as honest” as sophomore LP General Admission.

In “Glass House,” MGK reflects on missed opportunities and loved ones, calling out Lil Peep, Mac Miller, Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington and more.

Wish Lil Peep and me had spoke, but I can’t get that back
Just came from Pittsburgh, damn, I’ll miss my homie Mac
Yeah, last time I got off the stage, I looked Chester in the face
But now he gone, and ain’t no going back

In late March, BFF and resident hype man Pete Davidson shared “Glass House” ahead of its release because it gives him a shoutout: “I’m like Stevie, I can’t see these folks/And they even got my homie Pete out here like ‘Fuck the jokes.’” One of MGK’s close friends and fellow rapper Nipsey Hussle passed away the day after the track surfaced. Following his death, MGK honored the rapper by delaying a single release and giving one of Nipsey’s tracks a drum remix. The homage didn’t stop there as MGK swapped the Stevie Wonder-inspired line for one about his friend: “This shit ugly, I was just with Nipsey, now he ghost.”

MGK previously opened up about the toll the new album took on him with AltPress from day two of his EST Fest (where he also brought out Wild to do “Glass House”).

“The energy that I gave this album, it still has it coming back inside me,” he shares hours ahead of a headlining set where he played the record in full. “I think when you choose to release those truths, you fill them with other things. I’m like the giving tree after you chopped all your branches off, and you’re just giving everybody everything, and to be honest, I feel like I’m sitting on a fuckin’ stump right now.”
