This is so hardcore.June 11, 2019
The Cleveland rapper posted a video of him getting the album name tattooed on the back of his head while a song he and his producer have been heavily teasing plays in the background.
“Album comes JULY 5th,” he wrote in the caption.

MGK has previously stated that the album would be coming in June, so now we at least have an exact date even if it is a bit later.
A few weeks ago, Machine Gun Kelly began filming a video for an unreleased track. Footage and photos surfaced from the set, confirming a previously speculated collab with the blink-182 drummer and YUNGBLUD.

After making its live debut at Bunbury and on his current Hotel Diablo tour, MGK revealed the collab was coming. He shared his excitement, tweeting, “can’t wait to wake up and know the song i’ve been wanting y’all to hear for the longest is gonna be out.”

MGK chatted with Zane Lowe ahead of the song’s release, explaining he was “scared to even bring [Barker] the song ’cause [he] was like, ‘Maybe he’s gonna think it’s too blink-182.’”
But he explained Barker loved how they put their own twist on it, which ended up coming together more quickly than they all imagined.
“Fun fact about this song is that YUNGBLUD came into my studio 15 minutes before I needed to go to Travis’ house because we had a session planned,” MGK tells Lowe. “I was like, ‘Dude, I have this crazy song idea (and) I just need you to do something but I don’t have any time. I have to go to Travis’ house, I can’t waste his time. You just gotta get in there and do something.’
“He went in there and freestyled his whole verse and just left my house all within 10 minutes. I called him back 30 minutes later, and I’m like, ‘Dude, Travis Barker’s putting drums on the song right now.” Check out the interview clips below.

More on Machine Gun Kelly
MGK is definitely making good on that promise by dropping the “Hollywood Whore” video soon after. While we don’t have an exact release date for the album, we do now have the second single, “el diablo,” which dropped today. And the opening line might sound familiar to “Rap Devil” fans.
To rewind, MGK’s “Rap Devil” was a response to Eminem’s diss in “Not Alike.” A few weeks after, it was revealed that Ronny J produced both diss tracks. However, it didn’t end there as he also produced Eminem’s “The Ringer,” which is housed on Kamikaze with “Not Alike.”
Now, given the opening line of “el diablo,” MGK and Ronny J are teaming up yet again. Check out the new song and lyrics below. It’s also available to stream here.
