Here's when you can hear the first song off of MGK's pop-punk album

Machine Gun Kelly has been hyping his upcoming Travis Barker-produced pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall for ages now and it looks like we’re getting the first official single from the album this Friday (May 1) after plenty of teasing.

According to MGK himself, a new track is set to arrive this week and from the hashtag he included it’s likely titled “Bloody Valentine.”

The musician also tagged Barker in the post saying it’s “go time.”

This will mark the first recorded single to be released from the record.

Along the way, we’ve seen and heard numerous snippets of new music while getting hints at what’s in store.

The album was initially teased as a rock album amid studio sessions with Travis Barker, blackbearGoody GraceMod Sun and more in December 2019.

A little while later, we found out the name of the record in an interview with Zane Lowe.

The record has a massive amount of guests set to appear. Other previous collaborators blackbear, Trippie Redd and Young Thug will be joining him on the new project. The rapper has also revealed hopes for collabs including Attila frontman Fronz and the Used vocalist Bert McCracken. MGK got one wish granted at least with the Used vocalist.

It was initially teased for an early 2020 release but was later changed to a summer dropSeveral teaser clips have arrived including a full band performance of an untitled song recently while MGK has given a playlist of songs inspiring the album.

We also got a song from the pair as well as iann dior a couple of weeks ago. While it fit the vibe of what they seem to be aiming for, it must not be a part of the album based on Machine Gun Kelly saying this new song will be “the first single” from the record as well as the song being tagged as an iann dior track.
