Machine Gun Kelly makes comedy debut after losing bet with Pete Davidson

Machine Gun Kelly can do a lot of things — rap, act, apparently give tattoos. But now he’s made his latest career move — stand-up comedy, thanks to his bff Pete Davidson.

Yes, the Cleveland rapper performed at a comedy club in Burbank, CA for the first time ever in support of Davidson.

The sold-out show happened apparently because MGK lost a bet to the Saturday Night Live star. The bet apparently was that if MGK couldn’t keep his shirt on for the entirety of his 29th birthday party, he’d have to do stand up. Apparently that was too much for the rapper, and he ended up performing for about 200 people.

The venue does not allow for filming, but you can see a clip of MGK’s entrance below.

As far as his rapping goes, he just announced his album name Hotel Diablo along with a tour. The album is apparently “just as honest” as General Admission.

All this comes after MGK shared that he had scrapped an entire album. Not wanting to leave fans completely empty-handed, the rapper promised the new material would be coming soon and later teased some new beats in January.

Then, in February, he was in the studio with blink-182‘s Travis Barker, which only made us more excited for the album.

Later, Davison  filmed jamming out to some unreleased MGK music that shouts-out the comedian. The duo’s friendship is well documented. Davidson appeared in MGK’s “LOCO” video this past summer, road tripped to EST Fest and got a tattoo in inspired by the rapper. We don’t know if it’ll be on the album, but we sure hope it is.

Outside of music, MGK has been busy starring as Mötley Crüe’s Tommy Lee in a Netflix biopic about the band, The Dirt. He recently revealed the intense transformation process that was required for him to transform into the role and revealed he spent over four months learning the musician’s signature drum stick move.

Last month, MGK and Mötley Crüe dropped their collab track, “The Dirt (Est. 1981)” on Sex Pistols’ guitarist Steve Jones show “Jonesy’s Jukebox”.

In more recent news, Marilyn Manson just gifted the rapper with a dildo of his face on it, which was definitely a unique way to say “Happy Birthday.”

Besides all of this, the rapper just finally squashed his beef with G-Eazy after alleged Eminem involvement.
