Here are the scene staples that inspired MGK’s ‘Tickets To My Downfall’

Machine Gun Kelly is still plugging away at his upcoming Travis Barker-produced pop-punk album Tickets To My Downfall and today he’s revealing a selection of songs inspiring him throughout the process.

Some of the selections in his new playlist include hits from the likes of ParamoreTaking Back SundayLagwagonYellowcard and more.

To backtrack, the album was initially teased as a rock album amid studio sessions with Travis Barker, blackbearGoody GraceMod Sun and more back in December.

A little while later, we found out the name of the album in an interview with Zane Lowe.

MGK and Barker previously worked together alongside YUNGBLUD on Hotel Diablo track “I Think I’m OKAY” which is one of the songs included in his new playlist.

Kelly also revealed other previous collaborators blackbear, Trippie Redd and Young Thug will be joining him on the new project. MGK is aiming high for his list of collabs, including Attila frontman Fronz and the Used vocalist Bert McCracken. Machine Gun Kelly got one wish granted at least with the Used vocalist.

It was initially teased for an early 2020 release but was later changed to a summer drop.

Several teaser clips have arrived including a full band performance of an untitled song recently.

Now, Machine Gun Kelly is revealing 15 songs inspiring him through the process with a new playlist on Spotify. Included in the playlist is his cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business” with Barker as well as songs from blink-182Lil PeepThe Killers and more.
