Machine Gun Kelly lands coveted the Used collab for pop-punk album
Machine Gun Kelly finally revealed the name of his much teased “pop-punk” album as Tickets To My Downfall last week. First teased as a rock album amid studio sessions with Travis Barker, blackbear, Goody Grace, Mod Sun and more, MGK updated his plans for a pop-punk album.
Today, Machine Gun Kelly, Travis Barker and Escape The Fate guitarist Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft shared Instagram stories showing that one of the dream collaborations for the album is coming to fruition. That collab is with Bert McCracken on the Used.

MGK and Barker previously worked together alongside YUNGBLUD on Hotel Diablo track “I Think I’m OKAY.” Embracing that chemistry once again, MGK revealed the vocalist will return for this album.
Kelly also revealed other previous collaborators blackbear, Trippie Redd and Young Thug will be joining him on the new project. MGK didn’t stop there, though, stating his wish list of collabs includes Attila frontman Fronz and the Used vocalist Bert McCracken. MGK concluded the interview by confirming the now named Barker-produced pop-punk release, Tickets To My Downfall, will hit in early 2020 between January and March.
Today, we got a bit of a tease regarding McCracken’s appearance on Tickets To My Downfall. In the videos, we see MGK dancing next to Barker with McCracken apparently killing it in the booth. Someone says “So fucking sick” in the background. The text is a bit cut off but reads, “HOLY FUCK we made it happen” Check out the three Instagram stories below.

This rocks because Machine Gun Kelly said he wanted Bert McCracken on the record and now he’s got him.
MGK expects Tickets To My Downfall to drop in the first quarter of this year.

Eminem’s surprise album Music to Be Murdered By includes a lot of controversial and tired takes including a music video portraying an edgy take on a first-person portrayal of the Las Vegas shooter, but his name-dropping of Machine Gun Kellyis stirring up their beef which has built up over two years.
While the songs make it seem like Eminem is over the battle between the two musicians, Machine Gun Kelly is calling the songs “bullshit” and having a bit of a laugh at Em’s expense for dragging it out again.
Eminem calls out Machine Gun Kelly by name in two songs on Music to Be Murdered By. Just last month, MGK retired his song “Rap Devil” which was his clap back at Em’s original diss in “Not Alike” from Kamikaze.
Machine Gun Kelly retired “Rap Devil” at a holiday show just last month saying he’s excited for the future.
“I’m so excited for all the things to come ahead and we’re going to leave some shit behind in this decade,” MGK told the Wolstein Center crowd. “So the first time we ever performed this song was in his home state in Michigan. And the last time I’m going to perform this song is right here in Cleveland tonight in my home state. Let’s go, this is the last time we’re going to do this.”

Now after it came to light that Eminem is name-dropping Kelly on two tracks on Music To Be Murdered By he’s responded by calling him out for still being pissed off about the situation.
