MGK, Travis Barker, YUNGBLUD film video for unreleased song

After appearing in studio sessions together and teasing a future collab, Machine Gun Kelly, blink-182 drummer Travis Barker and YUNGBLUD were seen filming together.

To backtrack, earlier this year, the three artists began sharing some photos from what appeared to be a studio. Then, earlier this month, they started to do it again.

Following MGK’ birthday bash were YUNGBLUD was among the prime Marilyn Manson-inspired dildo photo ops, the duo were reunited. MGK’s producer/engineer Brandon “Slim” Allen shared a quick clip of a packed studio. Among the crowd were MGK and YUNGBLUD rocking out at the front of it all.

The clip also featured MGK’s bassist/keyboardist Steve “Baze” Basil and producer Zakk Cervini (Good Charlotte, FEVER 333) and Omer Fedi. Most recently, Cervini co-produced YUNGBLUD’s Halsey/Barker collab “11 Minutes.”

The following day, YUNGBLUD shared another photo with just Barker in what appears to be a studio, suggesting the duo could be at work together again.

Then, some clarity came into the situation. MGK took to Instagram stories to share a photo with Barker and reveal new music with YUNGBLUD is on the way.

“appreciation post for one of the baddest motherfuckers/mentors @travisbarker. wait until ya’ll hear this song. @yungblud.”

Now, both fans and Barker have posted videos from a shoot of the three artists, presumably for their song.

MGK and YUNGBLUD later posted some official behind-the-scenes photos, which you can see below.

More MGK news

After Machine Gun Kelly finally dropped the first single from his forthcoming album Hotel Diablo just a few short days ago, we’ve been even more excited for the forthcoming album. Then, Pete Davidson has shared a sneak peek of a new MGK track on his Instagram story, leaving fans wondering if this could be the next single to drop.

The Cleveland rapper’s new single, “Hollywood Whore,” marked the first release since 2018’s BINGE EP, which housed “LOCO” and the Eminem diss track “Rap Devil.”
