Hold onto your horns—a Maleficent sequel is headed to theaters way sooner than we previously thought.
Now, the film has moved the release date to even sooner. Previously, the film was set to hit theaters May 29, 2020. However, we can go see it starting October 18 of this year.
The film’s social media pages made the announcement and posted a seriously sinister new poster of Jolie as one of our favorite villains.
In addition, Elle Fanning will return to the sequel as Aurora.

I’m really excited for #Maleficent2
I was a huge fan of the first one and it quickly became a favorite. Hoping Mistress of Evil lives up.
Definitely gonna review this on the channel. pic.twitter.com/eRPfX5oLVH
