Man survives off Taco Bell sauce after being trapped in snow for 5 days
If you’re like me you probably have a stash of random condiments and Taco Bell sauces tucked away in your car. Don’t ever let anyone make fun of your for your sauce hoarding again because as it turns out, it just may save your life.
According to the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office in Bend, Oregon, Jeremy Taylor and his dog Ally went out on February 24 to get gas for his Toyota 4Runner.

The SUV ended up getting stuck in the snow on the forest service road, and eventually led to police filing a missing persons report on Thursday in an attempt to locate the 36-year-old.
Taylor states he tried to get out of his vehicle and walk through the snow on Monday, but it was too deep, forcing both him and his dog to return to the vehicle.
A day after the missing persons report was filed, a snowmobile spotted Taylor’s car and alerted authorities.
Police responded by bringing in an Oregon Water Resource SnowCat to dig Taylor and his vehicle out of the snow.
Taylor disclosed that he and his dog survived by starting the car for short periods of time to stay warm and by eating packets of Taco Bell sauce he had stashed in his SUV.

Taylor later took to Facebook to thank everyone for their well wishes.
“Thank you everyone, I’m safe and my Ally dog is safe. I really appreciate all the help. Got lucky, lets never do that again. I’ll be in touch with everyone soon.”
