Marilyn Manson reportedly reveals new drummer ahead of summer tour

It looks like we may now know the next drummer to play with Marilyn Manson. The shock rocker is rumoured to have recruited 24-year-old Brandon Pertzborn to play in his band.

Pertzborn has performed with a number of artists over the years, including Black Flag, Doyle, Suicidal Tendencies and HO99O9 who opened for Manson last fall.

Pertzborn’s addition comes after former drummer Gil Sharone left the band at the end of March to pursue other projects. Sharone drummed for Manson for five years after stints with the Dillinger Escape Plan, Puscifer and others.

Sharone shared a collection of photos on Facebook along with the announcement he was leaving.

“After five amazing years playing drums for [Marilyn Manson], I’ve decided to leave the band. It’s been one of the highlights of my career but it’s time for me to pursue other current and future projects.”

Manson kicks off another co-headlining run this summer with Rob Zombie. Tickets are available here with dates listed below.
