Marilyn Manson delivers the Doors cover of classic track "The End"

Marilyn Manson hasn’t dropped a new album since 2017’s Heaven Upside Down but he’s offering fans new material in the way of a cover of the Doors’ song “The End.”

The musician takes a dark stab at the eight-minute track recorded alongside country star Shooter Jennings.

The new cover track may sound familiar to fans of the shock rocker who went to see him on tour this summer as it was played over the speakers after his performances.

The new song also comes with a sick looking watercolor painting crafted by Zev Deans.

The collab track with Jennings is going to be used in the upcoming adaptation of Stephen King’s The Stand which Manson is also set to appear in as an actor.

You can check out Marilyn Manson’s version of “The End” in the player below.

Manson is also currently working on his upcoming new record which he is working on with Jennings. The pair initially linked up in 2016 for Jennings’ cover version of “Cat People (Putting Out Fire)” for his Countach (For Giorgio) LP, a covers collection featuring songs by electronic-music pioneer Giorgio Moroder.

Marilyn Manson is set to tour with Ozzy Osbourne on his final North American tour next year. You can see the dates below.
