This Dunkaroos-flavored beer is brewed with cookies and sprinkles

Back in February, we learned that the nostalgic ’90s snack Dunkaroos is back after eight years off the market.

Now, a Texas-based brewery is adding to the 2020 Dunkaroos hype with its own beer called “Dunkabroos.” The concoction is brewed with cookies, sprinkles and vanilla cream and tastes exactly like the beloved snack.

For many ’90s kids out there, Dunkaroos were a constant staple in their everyday lives. Now that most of the ’90s kids are over the age of 21, a brewery has decided to reinvent the snack into a treat just for adults.

The Martin House Brewing Company, based in Forth Worth, TX, has launched its own Dunkaroos-flavored beer. Called Dunkabroos, the eight percent ABV beer is brewed with cookies, vanilla cream, lactose and sprinkles. Martin House Brewing assures that each sip of the beverage tastes exactly like the frosted snack we love.

“This beer is nostalgia in a can. It wasn’t easy tracking down all these tasty treats for ‘research’ but we were able to find a few. The flavors have been replicated perfectly. It’s a sweet, cookie filled brew that even has that frosting finish (like when you save all the cream for the last cookie – yall know what we’re talking about)!”

The Dunkabroos beer went on sale this week exclusively at Martin House’s taproom. The brewing house sold 4-packs of the beer for $20. However, the company soon shared that the popular beer has sold out. Due to the popular demand, Martin House plans to make larger batches of the beverage in the future.
