‘Marvels’ comic series gets 25th anniversary podcast with Method Man, more

Marvel has teamed up with Stitcher for a new podcast adaptation of limited series Marvels, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Marvels is created by Kurt Busiek and Alex Ross, and the podcast will be a radio drama adaptation of the series surrounding photographer Phil Sheldon trying to make it in the superhero world.

This is not the first time Marvel has teamed up with Sticher. They worked together for Wolverine: The Long Night and its sequel Wolverine: The Lost Trail.

The new Marvels series will try to stick to the script of the original. We will see Sheldon deal with the aftermath of an invasion by Galactus and his battle with the Fantastic Four.

The podcast will see regular people “embark on an investigation to confirm or debunk one of the most super-powered conspiracy theories of all time,” according to the announcement.

The upcoming Marvels podcast will drop this fall and be available only for Stitcher Premium members until 2020.

The cast includes Clifford “Method Man” Smith of Wu-Tang Clan, AnnaSophia Robb, Ethan Peck of Star Trek: Discovery and Seth Barrish.

One Avengers: Endgame fan decided to make a metal edit of one of the major scenes and used the perfect Black Sabbath song to do so.

The fan used the crucial scene where Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) saves the universe with a single snap that gets rid of Thanos and his army.

Instead of the original score, the scene was set to Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” because of course it was.

The video was first shared to Reddit and is one of the most popular posts in the /MarvelStudios subreddit. See it for yourself below.
