Marvel and the Weeknd team up for "Starboy" comic book

It seems the Weeknd is making his way into the comic book world, announcing his collaboration with Marvel Comics in a new series titled “Starboy.”

The Weeknd isn't the first artist to dabble into the world of comic books. Lights released her Skin & Earth album and comic crossover a couple weeks ago, while Say Anything's Max Bemis has said he's working on a new comic for Marvel.
The new comic series will star the the singer himself and is said to be “coming soon.” The Weeknd teased his partnership with Marvel on his social media pages, releasing sneak peeks of the comic book art along with the New York Comic-Con date.

According to the cover of the first issue, we can expect the release sometime next year.
