Matty Healy ponders what 2010 Kanye West would think about "all of this"

It’s officially 2019, and what better way of bringing in the new year than having some Kanye West Twitter rants to fill our day?

In this new round of Twitter rants from West himself, it appears as though the rapper is looking towards the presidency in 2024, while the 1975‘s Matty Healy is looking at what the past Kanye would do.

The 1975 frontman took to Twitter earlier this afternoon, roughly around the time of West’s latest rant, to pose the question of what would 2010 Kanye think of everything that’s going on.

“Man Kanye when I was 20. Like, some kind of God. So much influence on all of us. I really wanna know what 2010 Kanye would be saying about all of this,” Healy shared in his tweet.

Again, it’s unclear as to what exactly caused Healy to tweet this, but given the timing, it could be in response to the series of tweets posted to the rapper’s page earlier today.

As for those tweets, West has now suggested a 2024 presidential campaign run, praised Donald Trump and he’s explained where “he stands” going into the new year.

“Trump all day,” he began his new Twitter update, before adding three dragon emojis, which, as NME notes, has to do with the “dragon energy” that he and Trump shares.

Following these tweets, he wrote, “Just so in 2019 you know where I stand,” which most likely means that he will be in support of Trump if he goes forth with a re-election run in 2020.

He then continued on by saying: “They will not program me….Blacks are 90 [percent] Democrats. That sounds like control to me.”

“Love everyone,” West added to his slew of tweets before he shared that “We will change the world. God is on my side. I am a Christian. I am a tax payer. I am myself. God is with us.”

Finishing his series of tweets, West then tweeted out “Free thought,” following a simple “2024,” which has many thinking it’s his way of announcing that he’s planning to run for president in 2024.
