Matty Healy of the 1975 addresses Taylor Swift controversy
In a long tweet, Matty Healy has addressed comments he made regarding Taylor Swift that were supposedly taken out of context.
The 1975 frontman has been the center of rumors of a relationship with Swift for months now, ever since she attended one of his shows.

Regarding those rumors, Healy told Q Magazine, “It's just interesting to me how interested the world is about Taylor Swift. The reason I mention that is because if I had [properly] gone out with Taylor Swift, I would've been, 'F***ing hell, I am not being Taylor Swift's boyfriend. You know, “F**k. That.”' That's also a man thing, a de-masculinating, emasculating thing.”
Since then, Healy has been under fire for his allegedly misogynistic comments. In a statement on Healy's Twitter, he addresses the controversy with a vehement “READ THIS I'M PISSED OFF.” Check it out below.
