Mayday Parade re-releasing debut EP with new song

It's been 10 years since the scene was graced with Mayday Parade's iconic first EP.

To celebrate the EP's tenth birthday, Mayday Parade are re-releasing Tales Told By Dead Friends on Nov. 11. The re-release will also feature a new song, “The Problem With The Big Picture Is That It's Hard To See.”

The Tales Told By Dead Friends anniversary edition will come on a 10 inch with special glow-in-the-dark packaging and a 12-page commemorative book. It will also be available digitally.

Pre-orders for the digital and physical formats are live here.

“When we started this band, we hoped we would be able to do this for a long time. It was a dream of ours since high school and what we spent our time focusing on. Now today we are getting to experience the 10-year anniversary of our Tales Told By Dead Friends EP that started it all,” bassist Jeremy Lenzo says. “Of all the things to think about when starting a band, what we would do on our first album's 10-year anniversary was something we never thought of, but it is something we all find very special now as we get to experience it. It is something that makes us remember the road we took to get us here and everything we've done to bring us to this point.”

Already announced, Mayday Parade will continue the tenth anniversary Tales Told By Dead Friends celebration with a two-week headlining tour, during which the EP will be played in full at each show. Grab tickets for that awesome experience here (quickly because most shows are sold-out).
