Megadeth begin working on 16th album, share studio photos

Megadeth have begun recording their 16th full-length album which is set to be released sometime in early 2020.

The band shared the news by posting photos from the studio on their website and social media pages.

“It begins #megadeth16,” the caption reads.

We can’t wait to hear the new album next year, and we’re glad recording has started.

Megadeth were set to open for Ozzy Osbourne on his spring tour, but after a fall, Osbourne postponed all dates until February 2020.

However, Megadeth still have a big year ahead. They’re headlining Megacruise, a five-day cruise to Mexico with bands such as Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Testament and more performing on board. The cruise takes place Oct. 13-18. You can grab tickets and find out more information for that here.
