A congratulations are in order for Melanie Martinez. Her debut album, Cry Baby, has officially been certified platinum.
Even cooler? It’s one of only eight debut albums released in 2015 to receive the platinum title.
Cry Baby features the platinum certified single “Dollhouse,” as well as two certified gold singles, “Pity Party” and “Carousel.” The record has spent 80 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart and has received over 575 million streams.
Plus, it debuted at No. 1 on the Alternative Albums chart, No. 5 on the Top Albums chart and No. 6 on the Billboard 200 chart.
She has released a video for 12 out of the 13 tracks on Cry Baby, and the thirteenth and final video for “Mad Hatter” is currently in production.
