Meridian (Youth Conspiracy Records) stream new album, ‘The Cathedral’

Meridian, the alt-rock project from Signals Midwest frontman Max Stern, are streaming their new album, The Cathedral, in full on Modern Vinyl. Meridan’s first release was 2012’s acoustic Aging Truths with Stern and his brother Jake. “Aging Truths was essentially a bedroom project Jake and I took into the studio and attempted to flesh out over a few days,” says Max Stern. “The Cathedral was very different—from the start, it was clear that it was going to be a full-band record. It was really special to watch it come to life over the span of several months.”

The Cathedral will be officially released Aug. 19 via Youth Conspiracy Records. You can pre-order it digitally and on vinyl. Stream the album below, and let us know your thoughts.

Full disclosure: Youth Conspiracy Records is owned by AP managing editor and ultimate Weezer fan Scott Heisel.
