Falling off stage is like tripping over yourself in public, if you recover quickly and act smooth about it, then you're fine, which is exactly what Metallica's James Hetfield did after he fell onstage in Amsterdam.

The fall happened early during Metallica's set, happening during their sixth song of their eighteen song set. It happened during the song “Now That We're Dead” and it's actually pretty funny watching Hetfield fall in the back as Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo continue to play.

It doesn't take long for Trujillo to notice though as he checks on Hetfield as he's helped up by several stage hands.

Check out the clip below, via ThePRP. The fall happens around 4:05.

It didn't take long for Hetfield to recover and continue to kick ass as usual.

Metallica, along with Halsey and Bleachers are set to be a part of the mental health awareness and suicide prevention campaign on World Suicide Prevention Day, Sept. 10. The campaign, organized by Entercom, focuses on breaking the stigma attached to talking about mental health. Check out more info here!
