Metallica release live "Hardwired" music video—watch

To tease their highly-anticipated WorldWired Tour, Metallica have released a live version of their song “Hardwired” called “Hardwired… Around the World”—and it's getting us stoked for their shows.

The footage was filmed between August 2016 and February 2017 during the kick-off of the WorldWired Tour in places like New York City, Mexico City, and Seoul.

This is the band's first North American tour since 2009. Metallica will be heading out on their North American tour May 10 with Avenged Sevenfold Volbeat and, Gojira. The day before the tour launches, Metallica will be broadcasting a four-song tour rehearsal on Facebook Live at 9 p.m. ET.
They previously held a contest for a local band to join them on a 5-date run and Chicago-based band LocalH won the honor.
