Metallica's "Black Ticket" gets you into every gig on their tour

With the announcement of the massive 2018-19 North American leg of their WorldWired Tour, Metallica have launched a $598 “Wherever I May Roam Black Ticket” tour pass that grants access to any stop on the upcoming trek.

That's right, for just shy of $600, you can essentially get a subscription pass to each and every gig on Metallica's impending arena tour. While we imagine the attendant travel expenses would be astronomical, MetalSucks points out that, were you to attend every gig, the math works out to just $17.50 per show for every stop on the 34-date tour.

Of course, the “Black Ticket” comes with the caveat that you must RSVP for each gig 48 hours in advance, so you're gonna have to really be on your shit to make a Deadhead-style 'tallica road trip work. (Also, that oddly specific $598 price tag is seemingly a reference to the band's recently reissued The $5.98 EP – Garage Days Re-Revisited. Amusing!)
