“Crossing A Line” joins other raw cuts such as the previously issued “Place To Start” and “About You” from Shinoda’s first solo LP, Post Traumatic, released June 15. The full-length  release follows January’s unveiling of the Post Traumatic EP.

And while the musician goes solo, many Linkin Park fans are wondering what will become of the band after the tragic death of LP singer Chester Bennington, who died by suicide last year. Shinoda told Vulture that there’s no clear path for the group.

“I’m unable to say what will happen,” he said. “There’s really just no answer. And it’s funny because if I even say anything about the band’s future, that becomes the headline, which is stupid because the answer is there is no answer.”

Shinoda is touring throughout the summer — get show dates and ticket information here. Watch the Linkin Park member perform “Crossing A Line” on Fallon down below. And let us know what you think of the performance in the comments.
