This isn’t the first time the designer has worked with a rock band or artist.
In the fall, Badflower were the faces for menswear fashion designer’s Fall ’19 Star USA campaign. Varvatos‘ acclaimed work has led him to collaborate with some other recognizable names in the scene such as Machine Gun Kelly, Green Day and KISS. Varvatos also turned the former CBGB music venue into a high-end boutique.
Now, the Misfits have joined forces with Varvatos to drop a new fashion line.
The most expensive item in the collection is the biker jacket with the band’s logo on the back which is selling for almost $1,000 dollars.
With the prices being so expensive, some social media users aren’t very pleased. Check out the full clothing line and prices here with some fan reactions below.
Do not get me wrong I am a huge fan of John Varvatos and own quite a few JV items but Punk is officially dead with this $500 Misfits jacket. pic.twitter.com/dSvfsgP2KH
