Misfits performing 'Static Age' in full on headlining tour

Starting tomorrow, October 10, legendary horror-punk band Misfits will set out on a lengthy North American tour that will see them performing Static Age—widely regarded as the band's best work—in its entirety. The album—technically serving as Misfits' first LP, recorded in 1978 but not released on its own until 1997—features such fan favorites as “Hybrid Moments,” “Teenagers from Mars,” “She” and “We Are 138.” Misfits' current bassist, Jerry Only, is in fact the only member of the band who was part of the Static Age lineup. Only's younger brother, ex-Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, often plays these songs with former Misfits vocalist and songwriter, Glenn Danzig.

All dates for the tour, which begins in Columbus, Ohio, can be found below. The band will be joined by Los Angeles act She Demons for the outing. More information can be found on the Misfits website.
