Modest Mouse are teasing something

Yesterday Modest Mouse broke their deafening silence by making their Instagram debut with a Side A picture of a vinyl pressing titled “Lampshades On Fire.” It is worth noting that the post is also currently serving as the homepage of the band's official website. A new record from Modest Mouse has been in the works for the past seven years, which once released, will follow up their 2007 studio effort, We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank. As Pitchfork pointed out, the band have been periodically performing a new song live over the past few years, which some believe to be titled “Lampshades On Fire.” Here's an audio rip of the band playing the track:
