Moneen announce set of shows with Moving Mountains, Prawn

Many likely believe that Canadian band Moneen broke up once upon a time, which isn't true, but who could blame them? It's been six years since the band's last full-length, The World I Want To Leave Behind, and performances have been next to nil ever since. However, following some recent teases via social media, Moneen have announced three U.S. shows to take place this December as they join Moving Mountains and Prawn, who will be co-supporting an upcoming split 12-inch.

On Facebook, Moneen shares, “Excited to announce we will be playing 3 shows with our great friends @movmou (moving mountains) in the USA. These will be our first shows in the states in over 5 years. We cannot wait to come back after being gone sooo long.”

Tickets for the shows, taking place in Philadelphia, Brooklyn and Boston on December 18, 19 and 20, respectively, are available as of today. You can revisit an old Moneen single from 2006's The Red Tree below.
