The two stars will voice the monsters for the upcoming series Monsters At Work. The show will be available on the Disney streaming platform Disney+ in 2020.

Disney shared the exciting news on Twitter.

The series is set to pick up six months after the original film left off. It will still take place at the factory where the monsters collect children’s laughter, instead of screams, to power the city.

Besides the two main characters, three other voice actors will be reprising their roles in the spinoff. Celia will be voiced by Jennifer Tilly, Yeti by John Ratzenberger and Roz will still have the distinct voice of Bob Peterson.

Also, Peterson will not only voice Roz, but also her twin sister Roze who has never been seen before in the film.

A new twist will be the introduction of Tyler Tuskmom, who wants to work on the laugh floor with Mike and Sulley. The show will also bring in many new characters voice by Ben Feldman, Kelly Marie Tran, Henry Winkler, Alanna Ubach, Aisha Tyler, Lucas Neff and Stephen Stanton.

In other news, Monsters Inc. fans got a special treat in February. The date February 3, 2019 equates to 2/3/19, or 2319 day.

If you don’t remember the significance of this number, it is a code. When the code is yelled out, George is swarmed by monsters in HAZMAT suits. They shaved him bald and totally humiliated him.

In case your memory isn’t that great, you can watch the whole scene for yourself below.

Monsters Inc. came out in 2001 and since then we’ve been in love with Mike and Sully’s unusual friendship and their adorable relationship with Boo. That means the show is 18 this year, feel old yet?
