According to Billboard, Morrissey lost his voice during the performance and walked off stage during “Everyday Is Like Sunday.”

In a video, shared below, one of his band members explains: “His voice is shot. You heard it. He’s been trying, trying really hard. He came out, he tried. His voice is really shot. We’re sorry. He’s sorry.”

In a video posted to Madchester.com, Morrissey comments: “It seems I have left half my mouth in Guadalajara. But I will stand here and I will sing and if necessary, I will drop dead.”

According to Tucson.com, the Fox Tucson Theatre Executive Director Craig Sumberg said they are still negotiating with Morrissey’s managers about “possibly rescheduling the concert or giving refunds” to fans at the show.
