Motionless In White are performing ‘Creatures’ in full for the first time

It’s hard to believe Motionless In White‘s debut album Creatures was released ten years ago.

In honor of fans’ loyalty and support for over a decade, Motionless In White plan to celebrate the Creatures anniversary this month. Not only are they releasing a special reissue of the album, but they are also performing Creatures in full for the first time ever.

In October 2010, Motionless In White put out their debut full-length album Creatures. The LP features hits and deep cuts such as “Abigail,” “City Lights” and “London In Terror.” As one of their most important releases, Motionless In White plan to celebrate Creatures‘ 10th anniversary with some big plans this October.

To start, Motionless In White are re-issuing Creatures on vinyl, cassette and digital platforms on Oct. 9. The LP features newly reimagined artwork and comes pressed on yellow, purple and black-splattered vinyl.

For the Creatures cassette, Motionless In White are exclusively releasing 1,000 copies which can be found here. As well, the deluxe digital release includes three bonus tracks – “Dragula,” “Creatures” (Celldweller Beauty Remix) and “Mallevs Maleficarvm” (Tim Skold Remix).

Along with all of the reissued releases, Motionless In White are doing something they’ve never done before. For the Creatures anniversary, they are performing the album in full for the first time ever.

The livestream concert kicks off on Oct. 28 at 2 P.M. PT/ 5 P.M. ET. Tickets for the show as well as some exclusive Creatures merch bundles are available to purchase here.

As Chris “Motionless” Cerulli shares, MIW will perform every song off of Creatures including fan-favorite “City Lights.” However, there’s one particular song he is most looking forward to playing.

“Yes it happening…. and YES we will be playing City Lights hahaha. Personally, I am most excited for Cobwebs. This is going to be such a fun experience. Hope to see everyone there to share this with us. Happy 10 years to Creatures!”

The Creatures 10th anniversary reissue joins a slew of other releases from Motionless In White this year. Along with writing for their next album, MIW recently released the Another Life/Eternally Yours: Motion Picture Collection EP. The latest EP includes reworkings of both “Another Life” and “Eternally Yours.”

As well, MIW unveiled their cover of “Somebody Told Me,” the 2004 classic from The Killers, last month.

Motionless In White hope to put out more new music sometime this year. As times remain uncertain, however, Chris said that new music will be released when the time is right.

“I think we’ll be trying to get at least a new song out by the end of the year, but I just hope nobody holds me to that,” Chris shared. “We’re just gonna keep writing, and what happens happens. It might be early next year. I don’t know.”
