More on Mötley Crüe

In mid-November, Mötley Crüe finally responded to touring rumors. The band announced the destruction of their previous cessation of touring agreement in a YouTube video with narrator Machine Gun Kelly who played drummer Tommy Lee in Netflix biopic The Dirt.

The band haven’t taken the stage together since the last date of their 158-show Final tour in Los Angeles on Dec. 31, 2015. They signed a “cessation of touring” agreement before their Farewell tour began, which meant that no member could perform following that tour under the Mötley Crüe name.

With that agreement now in flames, the hair metal group are officially back.

Since playing Tommy Lee in The Dirt, so many of my fans have said how they wish they could’ve seen the real Mötley Crüe play live,” MGK says in a statement. “I never thought I would see the day when this would become a reality.  But the fans spoke and Mötley Crüe listened!”
