Bret Michaels knows as much about the Mötley Crüe tour’s status as you

Poison frontman Bret Michaels says he’s still waiting to hear what the plan is regarding the upcoming Mötley Crüe comeback tour with Def Leppard.

The tour is supposed to be kicking off on June 18 but even with the shows just a month away from starting, none of the bands really seem to know what they’re doing about the tour in regards to canceling, postponing or going ahead.

In an interview with the Arizona Republic, Michaels says he’s excited for the shows but knows that safety comes first.

“At the moment, we don’t know. That answer is confirmed. We don’t know. The health is number one. The health of the fans. The band’s crew. The people working at the venues. The first responders. That comes first. And if the CDC [Centers for Disease Control and Prevention] says it’s a go? I will be there, ready to rock. [And if not], then it’s not over. It’s just postponed. Those dates have almost all completely sold out. We added a second night at Fenway. I think Jacksonville went quick. Milwaukee was the quickest sellout they ever had. It was like 43 minutes.”

While Tommy Lee previously stated that everything was still set to go for the outing, they’re actually waiting to hear about its status still.

In a post about The Dirt, numerous fans asked about the tour and Mötley Crüe replied saying things are as unclear to them as they are to us.

In their post, a fan asked that they “cancel the tour already so your fans can get their money back. No tours are happening this year. Do the right thing. Bon Jovi did.”

The band’s official account replied saying “Bands don’t decide this. We await info as well.”

Another fan pondered “is this stadium tour on or off? So confusing with everyone saying different things. Governor said no shows till 2021 so what’s going on? I have VIP”
