Surviving members of Motörhead are planning on reuniting for a series of tribute concerts in honor of the band's late frontman, Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister.

Guitarist Phil Campbell confirmed in an interview with Blabbermouth that the band will be joined by some yet-to-be-disclosed special guests as they perform several reunion shows in tribute to the late vocalist.

“It's on the cards, but it's just gonna be a few select shows,” Campbell tells Rock Talk With Mitch Lafon. “We're not gonna be touring with it. We're gonna get these people involved and [we have to be mindful of] their schedules as well. We'll just do some special shows worldwide, which will be good—a tribute to Lem and to the band maybe, yeah. But it wouldn't be an ongoing thing; everyone's too busy. But [we want to] do something special. We're still trying to work on that now.”

The guitarist also added that he and drummer Mickey Dee would be accompanied by a number of special guests, and while dates and locations have not been announced, he assures that details are being worked out.

Lemmy passed away three weeks after Motörhead's last show on Dec. 11, 2015 from prostate cancer and heart failure. Earlier this week, founding guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clarke died from pneumonia. He was the last surviving member of the band's “classic” lineup.
