Demi Lovato and Lil Uzi Vert will be performing on TRL on October 4. While this news may not be as exciting to some of us as, say, the time My Chemical Romance performed on TRL in 2005 when Frank Iero fell off the drum kit and knocked half of it over mid-song, but hey, not much could possibly live up to that.

In case you missed the announcement, the first musical guests will be English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Katy Perry-collaborating hip-hip trio Migos. The rebooted TRL will commence airing as a daily series, as it once did, live from MTV's Times Square studio, and MTV says it will be “hosted by D.C. Young Fly along with the show's 'squad,' which includes Tamara Dhia, Amy Pham, Erik Zachary, Lawrence Jackson and content creators such as Liza Koshy and the Dolan Twins. Eva Gutowski, Gabbie Hanna and Gigi Gorgeous will serve as social media correspondents.”

We can't wait for TRL to be back on the air every day!

Here's that video of Frank messing up the drum kit to get you thoroughly hyped for TRL.
