Murder By Death add new member, release tour dates
Murder By Death have added Scott Brackett, formerly of Okkervil River, as a full-time member of the band. The multi-instrumentalist has previously toured with the ensemble, and will be joining them on their next headlining tour. Brackett said in a statement, “I started out as a hired gun for them, and we really hit it off; it would have been a shame to leave it at that. So when they offered me a spot, I couldn't say no. The opportunity to make a record and keep touring with them promises too much fun.” The band will be on tour starting June 17 in support of their lastest release, Good Morning, Magpie.
