Muse have earned their first Billboard No. 1 album with their new full-length effort, Drones. The record sold 84,000 equivalent album units in its first week, topping the chart and pushing last week's No. 1, Florence + The Machine's How Big How Blue How Beautiful down to No. 4.

Drones usurps the band's previous highest charting record, The 2nd Law, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 in 2012. Drones is the band's eight record, including live albums, to debut on the Billboard 200.
