My Chemical Romance fans share misheard lyrics with hilarious results
Some of these misheard lyrics are too funny!December 4, 2019
My Chemical Romance have people going down their playlists jamming to all their old tunes after the announcement of their return. Along with that, fans are also remembering all the lyrics they misheard when they first listened to the tracks.
Reddit user skylines-turnstiles recently posted their own misheard lyrics from MCR’s “Our Lady Of Sorrows” and asked others what words they heard wrong from their favorite tracks.
Inspired by a thread I just read.. what was your weirdest misheard lyric? Mine is Our Lady of Sorrows… So instead of: Stand up fucking tall Don’t let them see your back, Take my fucking hand, And never be afraid again. I used to sing: Steak my fucking head, Don’t let them see your back teeth, My fucking head, And never be afraid again…. why you wouldn’t want anyone seeing your back teeth I don’t know.. the song makes much more sense now XD
Take a look at these misheard MCR lyrics below. They are guaranteed to have you laughing so hard you cry.
Frank Iero‘s own mispronunciation of “Trade me for an apparition” during a live performance of “Our Lady Of Sorrows” was also mentioned.
Check out the video for that particular lyric below.
More on My Chemical Romance
We’re a mere 16 days ahead of My Chemical Romance making their big return to the stage in Los Angeles. As if you needed another reminder, the band has taken to social media to refresh our memories.
The official My Chemical Romance account shared a black-and-white image of a hallway adorned with chandeliers and open doors. The image is exactly what you expect, adding a filter to the Shrine Expo Hall. You can see a nearly identical photo here.
With the image was the phrase “Sedecim Diebus…” which translates directly to “sixteen days” in latin. Check it out below.

Unfortunately for nearly everyone, the band’s first show since their breakup sold out nearly instantly. This allows only 6,300 people access to witness the comeback of all comebacks. The band are also playing a show with Thursday, in addition to other international shows, but that isn’t enough for some overzealous fans.
Well, a new event on Facebook called “Storm My Chemical Romance Reunion, They Can’t Stop All Of Us” seeks to change that. We’re not joking, but we hope they are.
As most of you remember, this is very similar (almost exactly) to the Storm Area 51 event that made international news this year. While that particular event didn’t pan out as expected due to the military warnings and overall danger and absurdity of the situation, this one seems plausible.
The event description reads:
!WE ARE NOT OK!
Many of us have been waiting for years…finally My Chemical Romance is back together….we waited online for the start of the tickets sales….. and none of us got tickets!?!?! Honey, This venue isn’t big enough for all of us?!?!
Screw AXS, Ticket Bots, and the smallest venue in LA!
Black your eyes, throw on your hoodie with the thumb holes, and come out to form a black parade to storm the show!
Meet across the street at McCarthy Quad Park (right across from the Shrine Auditorium Gates.
Killjoys, Lets make some noise!

To be clear, we do not really condone this should this event be real. A ridiculous event to storm a military base plays as a comedy to most. The plausibility of this, however, makes it a very real situation that could lead to injury or criminal charges.
