My Chemical Romance fan uncovers “familiar” sound in now-deleted tease

My Chemical Romance fans continue to search for any sort of clue that might piece together the puzzle laid forth. Cryptic teasers about vampires and masks and the United Kingdom keep fans up at night. Now, one musically savvy fan thinks they’ve cracked the code to a now-deleted post from last week.

Warner posted a video last week with the caption “LFG” as well as some background music that was not in the original symbol-filled video released by the band. While MCR’s remains, WMA deleted their post less than a day later.

Just two days ago, My Chemical Romance sparked internet theory buzz again by posting the image of someone on a hospital bed, underneath a sheet. The only other clue was a little vampire emoji as the caption.

Tons of theories populated the internet attempting to figure out this conundrum. But, just like with Gerard’s clothing choices and symbolic statues, we’re left with more questions than answers.

But, some members of the MCRmy are still focusing on the deleted Warner Music post from last week that included sound. In a Reddit thread, u/al0123ex noticed something “and it immediately felt familiar” about the background music in the post.

“When I heard the audio [it] immediately felt familiar, so I went digging through some pieces of classical music,” they write. “I initially dismissed Mars, The Bringer of War, from Gustav Holst’s The Planets, because I was looking for something that sounded exactly like the music in the post. However, when I listened to it again I realized it sounded a lot like This part only without the 5/4 rhythm going on in the foreground. Can anyone else hear it?”

The user-added links to two separate videos. One is the now-deleted Warner post and the other is the clip they are referring to from “Mars, The Bringer of War”, from Gustav Holst’s The Planets.

Other users were quick to note that they do sound very similar. You can view the whole thread here.  We guess we’ll have to wait and see.

More My Chemical Romance

The My Chemical Romance reunion show was a major moment in recent music history. The return was nearly seven years in the making. By the end, they delivered a show that left fans more than satiated. Aside from making the fans happy, My Chemical Romance also made The Shrine happy.

The return show grossed nearly $1,500,000. That is a record-setting number for the venue. They also report that merchandise sales were amongst the top as well

The legendary My Chemical Romance gig sold out instantly. So, the show was expected to be incredible. Fans camped out for days beforehand just to secure a good spot in the general admission area.

According to My Chemical Romance’s agency, Paradigm, the show grossed $1,451,745. This makes it the highest-grossing show ever at the venue.

A Paradigm agent Matt Galle spoke with Variety last December about how everything came together and that the band is very excited for what’s to come.

“They had been getting offers for [the last] seven to eight years, and had been talking for a while and trying to figure out the right time, and 2019 was a year that made sense to them,” Galle says.

“They had some backstory with their [2010 album] “Danger Days.” They knew they wanted to do one show and now it’s kind of taken on a life of its own. I think they’re excited about the demand and the response and what else is coming for next year.”
