My Chemical Romance give new look at “An Offering...” figure with UK info

My Chemical Romance have kept nearly everything under wraps about anything they are doing. Last week, we received a Danger Daysera promo teasing what is believed to be a U.S. tour. Then just a few days later My Chemical Romance posted a short film titled “An Offering…” that brought a previously-teased character to life and announced a U.K. show.

While the show was announced, no official tickets buying details were confirmed by the band. U.K. concert promoter Johnny Phillips said that the tickets would be available Friday, Jan. 24. Well, he was right as My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero just confirmed it.

Taking to Instagram early this morning, Iero posted a poster for their upcoming gig at Milton-Keynes on June, 20. We see the now-familiar skeleton character and details about the show. Iero captions the photo with “On sale tomorrow… #MCRMK.”

So, tickets are on sale at 9:30 a.m. GMT/4:30 a.m. EST/1:30 a.m PST. Tickets are available tomorrow Jan. 24 at two locations. GigsandTours.com here and ticketmaster.co.uk here.

In Iero’s post, we also get a much closer still photo of the skeleton figure. Whether or not it is a band member behind the mask is up to people who are really great at identifying eyeballs. However, based on the prevalence of this figure, we tentatively say it will remain a very important icon for this new My Chemical Romance era.

Fans have been eager for any more information not just about this show but regarding anything surrounding “An Offering…” and more. There have been some leaks from the production team suggesting a second part, time-traveling blog posts, theories based on costumes and symbols and setlist theories. All of the cryptic posts keep our palms sweaty and our brains racing.

At least for now, we know when tickets are available for their next show. Watch “An Offering…” below and see what theories you can come up with.

More My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance’s lead guitarist Ray Toro unintentionally worked fans into a frenzy last night on Jan. 22. He posted a personal photo to the band’s official account.

Fans have been keeping an extra close eye on the band’s social media accounts for every small snippet they offer in regards to show announcements and reacted fast to notifications the band had something new.

“Seeing the first giant Gundam at Odaiba Park was a childhood dream come true.  Can’t wait to see the new Unicorn Gundam this year! Ray” the post reads.

Fans were quick to comment, letting loose about quickly jumping on any possible news of more shows but being surprised with the wholesome picture. Take a look below for some of the best reactions.

Just another friendly reminder that tickets for My Chemical Romance’s Milton-Keynes U.K. show go on sale Friday, Jan. 24 at 9:30 a.m GMT/4:30 a.m EST/1:30 a.m. PST. Are you planning on going? Sound off below!
