My Bloody Valentine announce US tour dates

My Bloody Valentine have announced a short summer run, marking their first U.S. shows in five years.

The tour kicks off July 17 in Seattle and wraps up August 1 in New York City.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 27, at 10 a.m. local time.

The band previously announced that they'd be playing Japan's Sonicmania festival, an offshoot of the annual Summer Sonic fest, this summer.
