That's right—My Chemical Romance’s Danger Days has officially been certified Gold by RIAA after selling 500,000 units.

Gerard Way shared the news on Instagram: “I am pleased to inform you that Danger Days is no longer Certified Oak™, but has graduated to Certified Gold™. Thank you all!”

And though he just shared the news, the record was actually officially certified back on August 15. Congratulations, MCR!
