Elders react videos are truly some of our favorite, but their reaction to My Chemical Romance? We might be on slightly different pages about our love, or in their case, not love, for the band…

They have some spectacular interpretations of lyrics from tracks including “I'm Not Okay (I Promise)” and “Welcome To The Black Parade.” (There are both tears and confusion. And one person even thought the lyrics might have been from Jay-Z… Solid guess.)
As soon as they give the music a listen, they have quite a response to “Honey, This Mirror Isn't Big Enough For The Two Of Us.” (“I'm not used to mosh pits…”)
Then they listen to “Welcome To The Black Parade,” and they thought the song had “so much potential” but didn't live up to their hopes. Uhhh…
“It's too monotonous…” We would like to kindly disagree…
