My Chemical Romance to release "Fake Your Death" next week

My Chemical Romance are set to release “Fake Your Death”, the final song they recorded together, on Monday, February 17 according to a tweet and a Facebook post from the band's official accounts.

According to the band's Facebook page, the song, which is track one of their upcoming greatest hits compilation May Death Never Stop You, will be released digitally on iTunes the evening of Monday, February 17 and will be delivered digitally those who purchased the compilation through MCR's official website-exclusive pre-order, as well.

Fans are currently taking this announcement with a grain of salt, however, in light of the @MCRofficial account's recent multiple hackings and slightly suspicious wording. We have reached out to a representative for the band and hope to have a full confirmation soon.
