Almost naked Slayer fan goes head to head with Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence brought more than just 70-mph winds to South Carolina this weekend. The storm also brought Jacksonville metal fanatic and totally-not-certified hurricane fighter, Lane Pittman to save us all.

Pittman came prepared to attack the Category 1 storm, armed only with an American flag and Slayer’s “Raining Blood.” The storm can be seen pushing Pittman backward, however, the metal masterpiece was enough to get Pittman to endure the weather and save the town.

Obviously, we’re kidding.

Funded entirely from a GoFundMe campaign, Pittman asked friends and followers to send him on the 300-mile trek to Myrtle Beach. Pittman had an end goal of just $150 but ended up raising over $1,000 in only three days.

“Pay for my gas/coffee and I’ll go fight Hurricane Florence,” Pittman said on the GoFundMe page. “MERICA BABY!!! We stick together.”

Watch Pittman’s Slayer-induced attack on Hurricane Florence below. You won’t regret it.

Famous for causing metal-related trouble, the nearly naked assailant’s Hurricane Florence extravaganza is not the first time he has gone viral.

In 2015, the Twitter personality was given a citation for playing a special rendition of the “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Pittman’s striking version featured a verse in Ted Nugent’s “Stranglehold.”

However, Pittman first began fighting storms in his underwear long before Hurricane Florence. He attempted to slay Hurricane Matthew back in 2016 and again last year with Hurricane Irma. Check out the video he made below.
