Since she started posting her covers online, Bushell has caught the attention of many other familiar faces. Back in April 2020, Josh Dun gave Bushell a nod after she covered twenty one pilots‘ “Heathens.” As well, Tom Morello backed Bushell after she covered Rage Against The Machine for the Black Lives Matter movement. Shortly after this, Morello gifted Bushell one of his custom Fender guitars.

Bushell spent most of 2020 in an ongoing drum battle with Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Finally, last November, Grohl conceded defeat in the drum battle, making Bushell the official winner. Additionally, she even caught the attention of My Chemical Romance fans last month with her cover of “Welcome To The Black Parade.”
