Neck Deep add new live member for upcoming tour

A new live member will appear onstage with Neck Deep when the Welsh pop-punkers take their show on the road with Don Broco this February. But it’s not just any ol’ instrumentalist who’ll be performing in concert with the lively quartet.

That’s right, the lads make it known that a saxophone player will be jammin’ alongside them for the upcoming tour of the United Kingdom. And this ain’t no joke: Neck Deep say the musician will appear onstage at “every single show.”

“SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT for our shows with @DONBROCO in a few weeks,” the band tweet. “Our absolute boy @ListenFor_Tony will be making his UK debut on stage with us at every single show. You don’t wanna miss this!!”

We certainly don’t! How will Neck Deep’s relatable anthems of teen angst line up with the smooth, brassy tones of the sinuous woodwind instrument? And will concertgoers get a taste of the band’s Natalie Imbruglia “Torn” cover with sax?

These are the questions that pervade our mind when we think of Neck Deep plus a saxophone. After all, sax usually isn’t the first instrument one thinks of when devising an addition to an already well-oiled pop-punk music machine, is it?

Still, we’re sure this sax player will bring a whole new level of enjoyment to the upcoming Neck Deep gigs. Are you catching any of the band’s shows in the U.K. next month? Take a look at the dates, right below, and sound off in the comments.
