The band took to Twitter June 26 to post a photo of their silhouettes in front of a giant “N” and “D.”

Fans began speculating if new music was on the way, or if this was simply a new stage setup.

Today, the band surprise-dropped a brand new single accompanied with a brand new music video.

She’s A God is a song that is, pretty much, about worshipping your other half, but for the little things like waking up in the morning and seeing them get ready for the day,” frontman Ben Barlow explains. “Those moments where you’re just in awe of how glorious a person can be. It’s pretty simple, no deeper meaning here, just a love song comparing a relationship to theology.”

The band returned to Wales to record the video at Monnow Valley Studio.

“Being able to be pretty close to home, without the distractions of a major city gave us a totally new perspective and creative space to explore,” Ben continues. “We decided to shoot the music video while we were down in the studio, just taking advantage of our surroundings, and wanting to give people a little insight into what we experienced that week. We shot the whole thing totally analog, which was exciting. Not knowing what footage you got until the film is developed was like waiting for a mini Christmas, and again, we’re stoked with what we got.”

Check out the video directed by Our World Is Grey below!

Lyrics:

As we wake up she begins curling up to me in her underwear.
And she looks at me with her eyes like planets in a solar flair.
She gets dressed, she looks her best with her hair like, everywhere.
And it comes to me
In a moment of clarity

She’s a god
She’s a freak like Madonna
She’s a god
Carry me to nirvana
She’s a god
Gimme peace, gimme dharma
She’s the one
Swear to god, she’s the one
She’s a god.

And everybody’s like
“Oh wow, tell me now, how’d you get so spiritual?
Did you go Far East, see the temples and find yourself?
Grow your hair out?”
And I’m like
“Hell nah, I’ve got a girl, she performs miracles,
Are you cynical cuz I’m her only believer but she’s nothin’ like Jesus?”

She’s a god
And she walks amongst us on her way to work.
I’m her chosen one
She’s my deity
And she’s saving me.

Cuz I’m blinded by my faith for my babe
Cuz she’s the reason
The reason I say I’ve seen the light burst into colour
She is the sun
She is the thunder.
