Neck Deep bassist Fil Thorpe-Evans tweeted “FYI last night a few of us were in a bar police lock down because there was a fatal shooting literally outside. Had to hide behind the bar.”

He followed his original tweet by saying: “Was pretty scary stuff. The point in me sharing this is just to remind everyone to be safe out there, the world can be a scary place.”

While the band are okay and details on the victim have not been released, our thoughts go out to everyone who has been affected.

Neck Deep's newest album, The Peace And The Panic, is set to be released on August 18. The band is currently on the Vans Warped Tour in the US, and will be heading out on a UK Tour in the fall with As It Is, Real Friends, and Woes.
